Geothermal installation, done to the load
A geothermal system only hits its rated efficiency when the loop field matches the real heating load of the home. Fern Gully Heating & Cooling designs and installs the loop and the heat pump as one system, across Chatham-Kent and the surrounding counties.
Geothermal installation is two jobs in one: the ground loop, which is the buried heat exchanger that lasts for decades, and the heat pump itself, which sits indoors and moves heat between the loop and your home. We do both, which is why the system we hand over actually performs.
We install WaterFurnace and ClimateMaster heat pumps, sized to the load we calculated, not a rule of thumb. The loop field goes in as horizontal trenches on rural properties with room, or as vertical drilled bores where lot size, soil, or mature trees rule out trenching.
How a geothermal install goes
